Whenever you get drafted to the NHL, during the pre-season you get to wear the C and if you are able to make the roster you get to keep the C during the entire season unless you get sent down into the AHL, now you would lose the C on your jersey even if you were to be called up into the NHL later in the season.

No, what i meant is that it doesn't make sense that my player gets to have the C in it's first season in the NHL as a rookie. I instantly got the C before the pre-season started and it carried over during the regular season. I was drafted by the Ducks, so they already had their Captain (Gudas) so this doesn't make any sense to get the C instantly when i never played a single game in the NHL.
