I share your pain. Since I am still on NHL 25 this might be the reason for me. I guess you are having the problem with NHL 26. May I ask in which region you are and if you are trying to play 3on3 or 6on6 games?

Matchmaking is one the big issues and we find a lot of posts in this forum about it. I am still not giving up hope, that EA will take care of this game. I think the system needs an overhaul because it seems to be far away from where it was back in 2014. I am wondering if I will find online games in Europe, once I will have switched over to NHL 26.

I don't think this would help after what I read in this forum. I meant I hope that switching to the NHL 26 version (I'm still on NHL 25) might help in my case. Sure, you could try switching your region, but I think US northeast should be pretty well crowded server. It seems to be a thing EA would have to fix for you.

Currently, with Club Finals active, wait times will probably be longer. You can only match with teams playing for the same cup. Either Elite or Pro. It sounds like you might be playing 6s so it's possible it could also take longer to find another team with a goalie.
