Crashing to dashboard on Xbox in NHL 26
I’ve been dealing with this crash for about 4 - 5 games (NHL 22 -26). I thought it might be fixed finally this year, but no. I’ve seen other reports on this and no solutions. Every 3-5 games (playing mostly HUT) the game freezes and then boots me back to the dashboard. It’s super frustrating considering there’s challenges and rewards given based on going undefeated or wins in a row. Pretty much impossible to play or get anything done in the game. I’m on Xbox series X. I’ve done factory reset, changed my camera angle, done a power cycle… none of these have worked. Over the last week or two I have been experiencing random lost of connection to EA Servers and then I get booted offline for 5-10 minutes on my Xbox Series X. I have reinstalled the game twice, deleted all captures and every game I don’t play. I am using an Ethernet cable and I have speeds around 900MBPS download and 200-600MBPS upload. When this happens my Xbox is the only thing that loses internet, my pc next to me and my iPad does not. I have no issues with any other game on my Xbox either. This is getting quite ridiculous as I play in NHL leagues and this is causing me to not be able to play. HELPSolvedInvite failed in NHL 25 and NHL 26 on Xbox Cloud Gaming
Hi, I’m having an issue with multiplayer invites in NHL 25 and NHL 26 on Xbox Cloud Gaming. My friend and I both have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. When we try to invite each other in the same game version, we always get the error: “Invite failed.” We tested both NHL 25 to NHL 25 and NHL 26 to NHL 26. The only mode that works for us is World of Chel. In other modes, we cannot join each other. Invites work correctly in other EA games when playing through Xbox Cloud Gaming, so the issue seems specific to NHL 25 and NHL 26. Xbox Support checked their side and said everything looks fine, so they advised us to contact EA Support. Could you please check this issue from the EA side? Thank you.Equipment manager is for Utah.
Has anybody else noticed when your player on your team? Let’s say gets their first career goal and the puck is thrown to the equipment manager that equipment manager has the Utah hockey club logo on their jacket and not your teams logo? Again, I’m no game developer, but I would think that would be an easy little fix. Also, I’ve noticed the Anaheim ducks goalie mask is on every goalie that is the replacement during the game. I have to ask if EA is competing with Windows to see who sucks at updates more and who has to do more patch updates because again the menu is completely random, bug sets work as they please, etc. sometimes it doesn't add cards with quick add, and cards that have arrived in the set or store, for example, don't reset even though they are already empty, the gameplay is just straight up crap and you have to worry more all the time in the match because my connections are flipping, but in an hour I went to the scrapyard 6 matches when I got a message saying sorry no connection and even in the menus it came up 7 times so please fix everything with one update for once and learn to finally do updates properly, the public version is the main thing, I have already given up hope a long time ago that something relatively intact and not a beta version or a beta version precursor would come out from youHigh ping issues, looking for suggestions.
So I've been playing NHL since about 2010, and have played pretty much every game mode throughout the years, ultimately settling on EASHL as the main. A few years ago I thankfully switched internet providers from Spectrum to AT&T fiber and immediately had the best connection I've ever played on. Then about 8 months ago I started noticing my ping on every server went up by about 20-30 ms. I play in online leagues and have dabbled a bit in esports, so the change in connection started killing my motivation to play. I've talked to AT&T countless times to troubleshoot, had a tech come out in person and change out all the hardware, messed around with DNS settings, router settings, pretty much everything I can think of. Then a few weeks ago one of the AT&T customer support guys changed a couple settings and I noticed my ping went back to normal on the East (Virginia) server, but on Central and QC my ping is still 20-30 higher than normal, getting anywhere from 65-70 on central and 90-95 on QC. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had similar experience and if they found a fix, because it's driving me crazy trying to figure out what changed after years with no issues. I always play on ethernet and have a 1GB internet plan. At this point I don't know if it's an ISP issue or something I can change in my settings on my Xbox Series X or something that changed with the NHL servers. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. For reference my ping in the past was always 46-48 on both East and Central, and always about 60 on QC.Roster Menus are extremely slow to navigate
Seems pretty obvious there's a problem with roster navigation. Scrolling through players results in a slight lag between loading player pictures and quick-look stats at the top of the screen. I've noticed this issue for the third year in a row on Xbox, others online have complained about this issue on Playstation as well. I've cleared memory cache and checked my internet and those don't seem to be the problem, have to assume it's a technical issue with the game. Happens in all roster screens no matter what mode, most notably in the edit roster screen from the main menu and in Franchise Mode. Makes changing lines and looking through players a slog. Again, I've done all the checks to ensure that this is not an issue with my console or my internet (I've had 2 different services in the last 3 years) and other EA Sports games do not have this issue including CFB 25/26 which hosts many more players.Every Game Crashes
Well I am back again. After months of playing MLB the show 26 and many other games my Xbox has been running flawlessly. With NHL playoffs starting I figured I would get back into it. I quit playing because it is nearly impossible to play one game without the game crashing. After a few years of having this issue (only with EA Sports titles) I have tried everything. From getting my console professionally cleaned, new thermal paste added to prevent overheating, uninstalling and reinstalling, and even buying a new Xbox. Just to have the game crashing get worse and worse over time. My first game back I maybe got one minute into the game and crashed me right back to the Xbox Home Screen. I loaded back up and got into another game and again in the first period my game crashed to the Xbox Home Screen. I hate to say it but this is not an Xbox issue as literally any other game can run flawlessly besides EA Sports titles. I have been playing since NHL09 and this will be my final time playing as this is just so frustrating. Due to ea devs saying they can’t recreate the issue they chose not to even address the problem. There is something very broken with this game and Xbox series x/s consoles. Until I see this issue addressed by ea I am refusing to purchase any further games. This has been an issue for years and keeps getting worse. Please for thousands of players, look into this. It is ridiculous….Loading a franchise file causes the game to crash
Thanks in advance for any help. Console is Xbox series S and this is for NHL 26. I’m trying to load my franchise file that was last saved yesterday. Now every time I try to load the save or any of the 3 backup files it pulls up the first screen with the next week of the calendar showing but the screen to the right that shows stats is blank and I see a spinning circle in the top right. After a few seconds of spinning the game crashes back to the Xbox dashboard Ive tried quitting the game, “power-restarting” the Xbox, clearing “reserve space” from the game save file, and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Not sure what else to try but I really don’t want to lose the save. Again, thanks for any help!!
