Formal Complaint: Critical Bug Causing Server Disconnections in "Cup Chase" Mode
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a critical, game-breaking bug in the "Cup Chase" mode of NHL 26. I have been a loyal and constant player of this franchise since NHL 98. I play offline 75% of the time, but I have been competing in the online "Cup Chase" mode. For the past several days, I have been repeatedly disconnected from the EA servers during "Cup Chase" games. This is not a random issue; it has three very specific and frustrating characteristics: It Only Happens When I Am Winning: I have not experienced a single disconnection when tied or losing. The server drop only occurs in games where I have the lead. It Is Not My Connection: I am on a hard-wired (Ethernet) connection, not Wi-Fi. My internet service is perfectly stable, and I have zero connection issues with any other game or service. It Is Happening Repeatedly: As of writing this, I have been disconnected from my last three consecutive "Cup Chase" games, all of which I was winning. Each disconnection has resulted in a loss, severely impacting my standing. If this continues, this bug will directly prevent me from making the playoffs, not because of my skill but because of a server-side failure. A brief check of the official EA Forums and community sites (like Reddit) shows that I am not alone. Many other players are reporting this exact same bug: being disconnected from "Cup Chase" specifically when they are winning, only to be handed a loss. For a long-time customer who has supported this franchise for over 25 years, this experience is unacceptable. This is ridiculous. I am requesting an immediate investigation into this bug and a server-side patch to fix it. My progress is being unfairly nullified, and the mode is currently unplayable in a competitive sense. I can't play online HUT after last update. When I am searching the game it's either won't be found or it says 'lost connection' when the game is found. Everything was fine until last update but now I just can't play online. Online is working only in online versus, but not in HUT. Tried to reboot router, tried LAN so it's not the internet issue. So how is it possible that after EA update the game becomes unplayable anymore?Cannot enter HUT mode. Download has failed. NHL 26
Please try again is what I keep getting. I have unplugged my router, my xbox, and restarted the game. Still, I cannot enter HUT. It says, "unable to download rosters. I am disconnected from EA servers on a daily basis (NHL26, Battlefield 6) Sometimes it’s within 10 mins of gaming, other times after an hour—but it happens daily I am using a wired connection (1GB Verizon FioS). I’ve tried a brand new router, troubleshooted with manual port forwarding, static device IP, etc) When I am disconnected from EA, I am not disconnected from Xbox Live, and remain connected and able to just restart HUT and instantly reconnected. Nothing has resolved this. Anyone have this experience or know a solve?Constant screen freezing
This is becoming an ongoing thing with my game, only way to clear it is to quit, which turns out to be a loss during hut. Brutal that we spend hundreds of dollars and they can't fix their issues. For the last 3 days I keep getting random disconnects. I don't loose connection to PSN or PSN chat. Cleared system cache thinking that could be it. Also I can't use the touch pad to bring up my friends list. Is this typical EA fashion of no F's given. Rinse and Repeat with failed delivery. Also bet nothing will ever come by a complaint just a push to the side and thank you for your money.
