Here is a video of it in the loadout practice arena
This isn’t the exact example as the one I gave earlier in the initial post (that’s me but on an auto-generated username it at first gave me), but there are many other situations where this animation can occur (opposing team cycling the puck in the corners, pass from behind the net to the wall…essentially seems like a goalie shoots out like a rocket if the pad is semi-tangled with the post when you step off a hugging post animation).
