NHL ‘26 Season Mode Corrupt File

I love to do all-32 team control in season mode. This has happened twice now, but as I’m advancing to the next day after playing and simulating games, I will click on a game to play (or sim) and the game will instantly crash and take me back to my PS5 Home Screen. First, it happened on Dec. 4 in my season. But I restarted and then it happened on Dec. 19 in the new season. 

I have multiple save files to prevent this exact problem, but all of the save files have the same problem. I even back up the saves on cloud AND on a USB drive, but those files also get corrupted. I feel defeated. There’s no point to try and start another season if I can just keep expecting this problem to happen. 

Any ideas?

    Hi there. Try deleting the personal saved data for NHL 26. It's possible you could lose any offline saves and changes to settings. Normally, those will download from the cloud, but I can't guarantee that will happen. Go to Settings/Storage/System storage/Saved Data. Locate NHL 26 and delete the saved data.
