Invite failed in NHL 25 and NHL 26 on Xbox Cloud Gaming

Hi,

I’m having an issue with multiplayer invites in NHL 25 and NHL 26 on Xbox Cloud Gaming.

My friend and I both have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. When we try to invite each other in the same game version, we always get the error: “Invite failed.”

We tested both NHL 25 to NHL 25 and NHL 26 to NHL 26. The only mode that works for us is World of Chel. In other modes, we cannot join each other.

Invites work correctly in other EA games when playing through Xbox Cloud Gaming, so the issue seems specific to NHL 25 and NHL 26.

Xbox Support checked their side and said everything looks fine, so they advised us to contact EA Support.

Could you please check this issue from the EA side?
