So why do you think there’s so many people upset at this set in particular?
I've passed on the feedback. Thank you.
Also the trouble is the set was gone after 48 hours. I get yes the 83 was more rare than the 82s however I pulled way more Girardi than Shaw as well. Also it was easier to get the 87 Hossa, Jagr and Howe than it was to get the lower rated Richards. Not everyone was able to get this card and enjoy it and I think that takes the fun away from HUT
We have always had higher OVR items be more rare. This isn't new.
So what was the percentage chance for the 83? And how did EA communicate that getting Kozlov was unlikely or rare?
If you browse your own forum or the NHL HUT subreddit, you will find a lot of people here who felt deceived by this pack. And the way you've explained it here makes it sound deliberate. I will be much more careful in the future.
He's a higher OVR than the others. This isn't deceptive. Higher OVR items have always been less common than lower OVR ones.
So was it a deliberately deceptive set or was this accidental? If that was working as intended, then EA was engaging in really shady lootbox tactics. EA_Aljo
Edit: actually, even a lot of those shady gacha games still give percentages so you know when a pull is really rare. There was no indication from EA that Kozlov was a rare pull from that set.
We have verified that Kozlov is available. He's just rare. I've passed on the feedback to the team. Thanks, everyone.
This would help, but honestly it shouldn't be necessary. It should be easy enough to send out a Richards choice pack to all of us who completed the set 10+ times.
I'll pass on the feedback. Thanks!
