Fantasy JVR card.. Why?
Why is James Van Riemsdyk getting a fantasy card this year? My guy is 36 years old and 2-3 weeks away from being sent down to the AHL..
Do goals count if the player is in the AHL and scores?

Why would a player be chosen for fantasy if they're going to be playing in the AHL? is the team planning on counting AHLgoals? Will the card be replaced if he doesn't make the team?And JVR was my BND pull. Great.
I'm pretty sure AHL goals will count. Nicholas Robertson's Fantasy Hockey card got upgrades from both NHL and AHL goals in NHL 24. I don't know why they chose JVR though. It would be nice to get another Fantasy Hockey player for the Red Wings if he ends up playing most of the season in the AHL.
