Yes, and that means more than 1 day but less than 2 days, which means it ends on Friday. It wouldn't say 1 day if it was going to end in less than 24 hours. It would say 0 days in that case. You can see the minutes and seconds until the end of the season in the weekly objectives timer if you haven't completed all of the weekly XP objectives.
And no, the NHL games are made by EA Vancouver which is Canada. The holiday that we are talking about is Canada Day (July 1st). Not 4th of July.
