Season 2 boost, joke…. It’s all about salary cap, it’s a back door pay for play!

I spent the last month putting my team together, I never paid for players, I never bought extra coins, just slowly billing my team over several months and I had a pretty decent team instead of winning games…. I insured my combinations boost gave me some lines who were five points with AP of eight…. I built that entire team all for nothing…..

Then takes away the boosts and gives a one point boost for line combinations saying that it’s better for balance play and not pay for play, my salary cap was only 74 million, nowhere near the 106 million cap was at.

Now all my players are pretty much reset back to normal, and it’s all about your salary. Cap players can still buy high rated players, have high salaries, and spent to the cap….., meanwhile, all the boost that I created are now wiped out and I guess we’ll be back to losing again!!!

On its face, it took away the overall boost to pretend it will level the plan field, but now all it’s gonna do is that people spend to get a higher rated players, with higher salaries…., This is no difference just the back door pay for play!

    It has been known since release that line chemistry would change.

    There were several in-game banners confirming that these Season 1 combos would be removed and replaced with new ones. This was also mentioned on X and EA's Page in the Season 2 blog.

    It's not just you, EVERYONE is starting almost from scratch.

    There will be several boosts again in the coming weeks ... which will removed again for Season 3.

    The mode is highly geared towards getting people to pay for packs and has been for quite a long time. You have to accept you are almost always going to be at a disadvantage going up against people who purchase packs and/or put in a ton of hours grinding the objectives/events. Your skill level can compensate for that up to a point and then you are just out of luck against people who have similar skill levels as you who have a god squad.

    No doubt, I understand that, they want more people to buy packs and the gear towards that, but this takes it to another level…: at least when there was a team that you built, you could compete, but this you have no chance now cause people can buy packs and you can’t even boost your team enough to compete.

    however, using your skill level to defend, it’s a joke when you have a team that’s a 90 team and your team is 84 with no boost or one boost overall, the faster team, the higher rated team win 90% of the games…. And that’s a fact.
