As it stands as of today the 6th of December there is a persistent sync/display issue within Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) Sets when searching the collection. The "Cards Available" counter displayed in the lower-left corner is unreliable and provides randomized data upon refreshing.
Steps to Reproduce:
Enter any HUT Set (e.g., Game Breakers, Totw, etc.).
Select "Search Collection" to fill a slot.
Observe the "Cards Available" count in the bottom left (e.g., it correctly says "3").
Press Triangle to refresh the search results.
Observe the "Cards Available" count again.
Result:
Upon pressing Triangle, the count changes arbitrarily. It may jump to "5" (showing ghost cards or cards already used in other sets), drop to "0," or show a different random number. The player cannot determine which cards are actually owned and available for use without backing out of the mode entirely.
Expected Result:
The "Cards Available" count should remain consistent and accurate upon refreshing. It should only display cards that are currently owned and not locked into other incomplete sets.
Impact:
This makes asset management nearly impossible. It creates confusion regarding inventory, leading to the potential purchase of duplicate cards or the inability to complete sets despite owning the items. This issue has persisted for months and severely impacts the core loop of HUT It a mess! And it is completely unacceptable that it is still any on going issue even now months after launch
