Simple Question Regarding First Starting HUT Mode

Which of the sets are you most likely going to receiving when you initially begin HUT Mode? Specifically, do you begin this Mode of NHL26 WITH a random TOTW Player, a Selection Pack of the TOTW players to choose from, any way to earn a player from the TOTW players available, or do you just need to purchase the card pack for yourself from the HUT Store? 

I'm roughly 2 months in now and I DO NOT HAVE A TOTW card period so I can begin the completing the various objectives and whatnot. As of now should I consider this another reason to not be satisfied with the game or is there a fast way to rectify this situation?

    The cheapest TOTW items cost less than 10k coins, so you should easily have enough coins to buy 2-3 items to hash out the objectives for your  weekly choice pack. 

    Sounds a bit weird that you haven't either earned even one TOTW during two months. I have 10 myself and I have only bought one of them.

    You may have to buy one or two from the AH to get started. Do the weekly objectives every week in cup chase at a level you can dominate. You get free TOTW card from the objectives. You will also get some other free players from objectives and moments. Trade in for more TOTW players if you want. The more you have, the easier the objectives become every week.
