So both weeks the bnd player for ignited is the same player 🤷‍♂️

Now I can’t put them in sets or use them in a game because it’s the same player. What is this years game? 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ bnd is seriously the stupidest thing added to this game in recent years.

The 88 BND issue is your own mistake. I agree that the 30 collectible choice packs should give us more than 2 options, but  you knew that you would only get 2 options so you shouldn't have done the BND set for a third time. You should have used your collectibles in the other sets instead. Or if you didn't know it, now you know and can avoid this situation in future events.

But yeah I totally agree with you on the BND packs that we get from objectives. I have 3 ideas how those packs could be fixed. They should be a) choice packs, or b) exclusive cards like the reward for completing all event objectives, or c) weekly packs meaning that week 1 objectives would give us a week 1 player and week 2 objectives would give us a week 2 player.

EA_Aljo I know you're aware that we don't want it to be possible to get the same player item as BND multiple times, but I want to tag you because I also want to mention another thing about the BND event objective packs. The other thing is that it shouldn't be possible to get goalies from those packs because goalies don't really help us with the objectives. I'm not saying that it has been possible to get goalies from the BND objective packs in every event, but for example in the Ignited event it's not a good thing that 3 of the 12 85 overall cards released so far are goalies, especially when Ignited cards are also needed for TOTY objectives. You should either not release any goalie cards that could be pulled from the BND event objective packs, or just exclude goalie cards from those packs.

The sets where we trade in 3 cards for a higher overall event card should also be choice packs like they used to be. I don't understand why those sets were changed to random packs without a choice when the collectible sets were changed to choice packs. For some reason a positive change couldn't be made without making a negative change at the same time.

Actually it wasn’t my fault. I know we’re only going to get two to choose from. What happens is there’s two weeks, both 88s for both weeks are different from the week before. (Or so they have been for the last few years). There are 10 88s that can possibly appear in the pack. Hence the role of 4 packs should’ve had at least one different from the past pack not the same 2 all 4 times.

Yes, it was your mistake. It was not your fault that you got the same 2 cards 4 times, but you could have avoided it by using your collectibles in a different set, so it was your mistake that you did the BND set more than 2 times.

Your explanation is not exactly how it works. You are not guaranteed to get different cards in week 2 of an event compared to week 1. So if you have 2 BND cards from the event sets and you do the BND set for the third time, you are not guaranteed to get a card that you don't already have. That's the way I see it.

Getting the same 2 cards 4 times when there are 10 different cards that you can get is of course very unlucky and something you wouldn't expect to happen. I totally agree on that. But still, you decided to take the risk of getting a duplicate BND card when you could have avoided that risk by making a different decision.
