Some suggestions for NHL 27

I like many aspects of the game; I enjoy the gameplay and appreciate the opportunities to earn good players by completing daily tasks or receiving them as gifts. However, here is what I do not want to see in NHL 27:

  • Fantasy assets like Brady Skjei, who averages around 7 goals per season. That makes no sense...
  • The already-mentioned hassle of completing sets—too cumbersome and time-consuming
  • Protecting the puck: what physical element ensures the puck is shielded? More pressure, more core tension? But doesn't that make it unlikely—or rather, doesn't it slow down the skating? And why are these players so hard to check?
  • Ice skating: making a quarter-turn—or even a 180-degree turn—while moving forward and switching to skating backwards, all without losing speed?
  • Players coming off the bench or out of the penalty box: Why do you always run towards your playing position instead of sprinting towards your own defensive zone during an opponent's counterattack?
