Community ManagerObviously, HUT is a monetized mode. It would be great if we had a separate version of HUT that was solely based on earned items. I have no idea if that will ever happen. In the meantime, there's always Online Versus for those that want a competitive online game without monetization.
Monetization is fine - if it’s done properly. EA hasn’t done this. There was literally no way for the average player to get multiple 96 TOTY cards (which will tip the balance). Add in the fact that the LTD packs only had a 40% chance at dropping one, and even F2P players who took the chance to drop coins on the pack were likely to miss out, and it becomes even worse.
Find a better way to monetize, or start dusting off your resume, because it’ll be the death knell of HUT if things continue like this.
With the cost of those packs they should have guaranteed to a 91 minimum.
