What is ICE-Q2.0 and when combined with next gen stats, what is it doing?

Hey Aljo

Per my subject line.  What is it?  For 2 years now i've been hopeful the AI would learn my habits and stay out of my way.  I do accept my part in that not happening.  But i'd really like to know what it's supposed to be, please.

Hi there. The AI don't learn your habits. They are reacting to the on-ice actions, player positioning and strategies being used. ICE Q 2.0 utilizes player stats to help determine how they play, but they aren't learning your tendencies and taking those into consideration with their behavior.

I think we should ask for that as a suggestion then, please.  Would be amazing if the AI learned from our habits.  Instead they are constantly in the way.  Whether it be getting in the way of shots, pursuing a puck you're already pursuing, etc.  The AI is a constant nuisance.  Please understand that i accept that perhaps we are playing the game wrong, but it seems 98% of the community is on board with playing the game wrong.  I do believe ICEQ 2.0 with next gen stats leads to a game we aren't ready for.  If realism is the intent then we need EA to educate their customer base.  As it stands right now there is a lot wrong with it.  Zero consistency.  Every game is different.  Perhaps that is intended, just don't get upset when we notice the programming, call it what you want.

We are always working to improve the AI. Keep in mind, they also react to how the human is playing. If you are frequently out of position, the AI will be as well. Especially, if you're playing outside of the strategies you have set. I'm not saying the AI is perfect. There's always room for improvement. You just need to keep this in mind as they will play better when kept in position.

One thing i would like is for the A.I. to recognize when it's needed and not needed.  Too many times i'm already going after the loose puck and it wants to help.

"We are always working to improve the AI" ... Could you please post a video to prove your point?
