Missing packs

Hey there. Do you have a screenshot showing the final results with you in Diamond 3? Keep in mind, your rank is fluid. So, if you checked your rank before the season ended, it's very possible others were still playing and surpassing your rank. That can potentially push you down to a lower rank.

This is my first time playing NHL, but I looked carefully and a few hours before season 4 ended I was diamond 3, and at the start of season 5 I received packs from bronze to gold 2, that's all. Unfortunately I didn't take a print screen of them, I opened them. I'm really sorry.

The packs you got are for season 5, not 4.

You get the packs for Ranked immediately. So you would have gotten the S4 packs already
