Am I going crazy or does it seem like there isn't much of a difference? That Makar goal at the end in the '27 clip....😕
Also, the '27 clips are against CPUs. Based on how players are still able to skate backwards in full control of the puck in '27, it doesn't seem like this has changed much outside of a speed penalty.
In addition to that, we were told all year that LTing couldn't be fixed due to the massive underlying work that needed to be done to prevent breaking backskating, but the 'changes' in the video above show that there's only been a subtle adjustment to speed.
How could this not have been fixed in a patch? Were we all being misinformed?
