Transfer from PS5 to Xbox

Questions/concerns about switching from PS5 to Xbox Series X

I’m currently playing NHL 27 on PS5 and I’m considering switching to an Xbox Series X.

I currently own and manage a GM Connected franchise. Will my GM Connected franchise/progress transfer if I switch from PS5 to Xbox, assuming I use the same EA account?

Also, since NHL 27 just released and I purchased the game digitally on PS5, is there any way to transfer the game license to Xbox Series X, or would I have to purchase the Xbox version separately?

If anyone has already made the switch from PS5 to Xbox, I’d appreciate any information about what transfers and what doesn’t. Thanks!

    Nope…

    You would have to buy the game again and account details or game files on one system type do not transfer over onto another. It’s different code and operating systems. You would essentially have separate accounts; one for each system, even with same email/account.
