5% commission on trades?
We all spend money on packs at some point in time. Whether we are drunk and being dumb or just want our teams to be better. Well I get drunk a lot and have spent close to $500 on packs and I was lucky enough to pull a Team of the Week Crosby. I decided to sell him so I could enhance all aspects of my team instead of just the number one center spot.
He sold for 1,000,000 on the first go around and that is when I noticed the 5% taken off. I have sold probably close to 100 items and have never noticed it because #1 it never happens with small items or they are sold for so cheap that it just is not noticable. (my biggest trade before Crosby was Movember Johnson for like 44,000)
My only problem with this is that EA does not make it public knowledge that this 5% comission will be taken off. So I wasted time on tech support talking to god knows who getting absolutely no where. If EA is going to essentially screw the end user out of 5% they should at least make it public knowlege that it is going to happen. Why not have a disclaimer that pops up everytime until you ask it not to that states the commision will be taken off?
The only reason EA does this commision anyways is to defer guys from selling their pucks or coins to a third party which is actually quite pathetic. EA makes more than enough money on the game and on our drunken moments buying their packs. But hey thats how the rich stay rich right?
Good job EA. Line your pockets some more.
