BAP Issues
Not sure where to put this, but here is a list of issues I've encountered, most seem like they should be easy fixes. 1.) Being able to view team/line strategies, as well as the coaches adjustments t...
Does anyone from the developers even read these?! I'm getting sick of this game and the lopsided AI. The computer team plays the way it supposed to like passing to an open man ect but my AI teammates suck. They won't pass to an open guy, they'll hold the puck and get it taken, and will stand there and let the other team shoot. The challenges suck to. This last game I had to 'up the pressure'. I had more shots, passes, and forechecks and was in the green on all my coaches eval (didn't even have a point) but still lost the game due to the above stupid AI. I was even in the offensive zone more but I lost the challenge cause I got scored on cause my AI just stood there. Then Ray even said I didn't play that good. WTH. I wish I knew how to send video to the developers cause I'm about ready to not buy another game.
The best way to get video to us is to use your console's built-in game DVR and post it to YouTube. Then, provide a link to it here.
Developers see this forum and are aware of the posts. We also report issues to them.
I don't mean to sound hateful but it is frustrating. The BAP has had a good upgrade gut the game play still is frustrating.

I was finally able to figure out how to upload a video. please let me know if you can access it. this is a AI non tripping call and you can clearly see that I should have been tripped. His stick went right through my legs. I'll get you more on the above issues but this is a start. again let me know if you can access the video. thanks

here are 2 more videos of the AI teammate being stupid. The first you can clearly see that he saw me open but decided to shoot which was stupid. the second confirms that the AI teammates play like rookies by not passing up when your about to get blasted and then turn the puck over. by the way I have this on all star.
In the first video, the AI most likely recognizes the screen and tries to take advantage of it. I agree they should have passed to you in the second one, but you could also have called for the pass. I know the dev team is always looking to improve the AI behavior so hopefully, we'll see them make better decisions in the future.
I see a few things here - In the first video it looks like the guy got lucky with the initial movement of the stick and let go of R1 -- Since he was not actively pokechecking according to the game, his stick is allowed to phase through your skates to prevent physics based issues.
In the second video, your Ai was too close to the defender and would have resulted in an interception most likely. It would have been nicer for him to wait a little bit to pass after the D-man shifted to the side but the shot itself was decent. You have the ability to call for manual passes; I find those to be way more reliable than assuming the Ai will make a human pass (no matte how obvious it may seem).
I agree the AI should have done something in the 3rd video but you weren't looking at him and weren't right on the boards for a chip-up. Might also be because your other AI was so close, it probably confused him a bit.
I have AI defensemen get absolutely smashed in the exact location all the time so I know how frustrating it can be.

what's the use. I already said that I DID NOT initiate the poke check until AFTER I was clear of his legs. and according to the quote above (from one of my first videos) I can do that (that was an AI player by the way). Is that not true? To be honest and I'm not sure of anyone else, but it seems all I'm getting are excuses. The AI can do this stuff but the player can't. It seems that the game is geared to give the AI the advantage when it should be the player who gets the advantage. I don't care how good you are, no one can out think a computer. the human will always react slower than the AI. so I'm done, no more videos.

@EA_AljoIf the developers see these posts etc, then why are the most basic issues not being remedied? Do they just not give a f? Who the hell is overseeing the game development and saying "yup, this is fine."? I don't have a background in software/gaming, but surely there's gotta be someone who can tell the developers that this in an unacceptable product, especially at that pricepoint.
don't want this comment to get overlooked cus it's pretty spot on
also don't believe its a incompetent dev issue, but more of a management not caring about it issue and forcing them to focus on other things because offline modes don't matter
well in the first video I don't know what you mean by 'phase' but I'll give you that but his stick went right through my knees also. In the second video the defender was already turning and all he had to do was continue skating a sec and hard pass it or saucer pass it. he saw me in plenty of time to do that. and the third well he should have just hard passed it to get it out of the zone close to me anyway. I do understand this is a game and you can't do some things as you would do in real life but I would rather him pass it. He also could have stopped quick and let the defender get off balance then pass, even if it wasn't to me. the lane was clogged.
Can you provide some details on the basic issues that should be remedied? Very frequently we see people say x issue is easy to fix, when it actually isn't. Rarely, is something a very simple fix that doesn't affect other parts of the game.
