You should only get one chance to play the TOTW. Are you saying this is happening every week or were you somehow able to play the TOTW multiple times?
No, I am saying that the game freezes when trying to play the new TOTW for the first time. It has happened 3 out of the last 4 weeks. The game loads & then freezes as soon as the ice is visible -- no announcers speaking, warmup footage, etc. I am forced to hard quit the game from the Xbox menu & restart. When I return to Squad Battles, it shows I have lost the game 0-3.
My questions is: why are we able to replay games that we have lost against normal opponents for 500 coins, but not in this situation? Ideally the game would not freeze at all, but it really sucks to lose out on the 2x coin bonus because this game is fundamentally broken.
Community ManagerWhen does the freeze occur? Also, have you tried any troubleshooting yet?
The freeze occurs as soon as the loading screen transitions to the game.
What troubleshooting would you recommend?
Community ManagerTry clearing your alternate MAC address with these steps:
Go to your Xbox One Settings (Just press Start, then click Settings)
Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

I'm having the same issue while playing TOTW to get 2xp n it freezes up on my xbox series x n it restarts on me automatically, n i lost the game 3-0 how can i resolve this issue it happened to me twice aready
