Cannot connect to EA servers

sometimes it helps, just do a full restart on your router,
for that's what I did. when I had Connection issues.

What @MichaelDK is always what you should start with. Also, be sure you power cycle your PS4 when you power cycle your modem/router. Let me know how it goes. I want to do all I can to get you connected again. Thanks!

Cant connect either. I miss watching hockey and unfortunately this is the only way to fulfill my jones. So hopefully when this * of a game starts working again, I can stomach the fact I've been purchasing the same game on release date since 1997. I wished every year can get it right, but I'm always disappointed.

Can you give me some more details on what exactly is happening? Also, it's good to start with power cycling as that often resolves connection issues. I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem, router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem and router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

For me, it is almost every time I log into NHL 2020.  I will click on Online Versus like 3 times and it rectifies itself and then connects to the EA Server eventually.   I have had recent issues were I have lost connection to the server (even though I have zero issues with every other non-EA game online).  I have a LAN connection and no issues with other games with connectivity to online games.

I have tried to power cycle both the router and PS4, no luck.   Is this a known issue??

It's not an issue we're aware of. Not one that is occurring for a lot of people. It seems to be just a small number of you.

No PC, have a Mac.    In reading the message boards it seems that it happens to more than just a small number actually.

There are some Mac instructions as well in that article I sent a link to. Just make sure you're using the same connection as the one you play on. So, since you're wired, make sure your Mac is wired as well.
