Created team goalie equipment glitch

Hello,

I recently started playing NHL 22, primarily so I could created my own teams and use them in franchise mode.

Yesterday I tested out the standard franchise mode to make sure I would be able to use all the teams I was creating. Up to that point I had created a handful of teams and I filled out their rosters with the full rosters from teams I was replacing (ex: I created the Portland Buckaroos and gave them all of the Anaheim Ducks players because I wasn’t planning to use the Ducks in my franchise).

I was able to replace all the teams I wanted with my created teams and I picked one of them as my team to manage (KC Scouts). From there I believe I was taken to my preseason schedule. As it happened the Buckaroos were on my schedule for a home game so I picked that game to play and have a look at my creations on ice. I selected KC’s home uniforms and Portland’s away unis.

As best I could tell, the skaters’ uniforms and the arena looked as I designed them. However the gear the goalies were wearing very obviously weren’t what I designed. Their glove, pads and blockers were mostly white but then had random logos for completely different teams (I remember seeing the Ducks logo on one of their pads). If they were all white, that would be one thing, but the random logos in completely differently colors was a bit of an eyesore. I’d love it if this could be fixed!

UPDATE: I tried testing things out again, this time with a different created team (Oakland Seals). Unlike the other teams I had created, when I created the Seals, I specified “No” for the option “Goalies Use Team Colors” and I didn’t alter the default goalie equipment at all.

After starting a new franchise, I had the Seals play at home against the trusty Buckaroos. I used both teams’ alternate uniforms. When the game started, Portland’s goalie equipment actually was as I had designed it. As for the Seals, the equipment was mostly white with random colors here and there.

I assumed the random colors were probably whatever the computer generated designs were from the Creation Zone. However, when I went back to edit the Seals, the goalie equipment in the Creation Zone was not the same as what I saw during the game. So I think it’s fair to say the same glitch occurred on the second try.
