I found the fix.
Go to settings>game settings from the main menu. You’ll see that both home and away line changes are set to off. Turn them to Auto.
Set up the rest of the game settings if you make any changes and SAVE IT AS A PRESET.
When you start a new franchise mode, as you are doing the set up, go into rules and settings>quick settings and select your saved preset.
Unfortunately any existing franchise mode you are in can’t be saved. I’ve tried going to quick settings and changing the preset to my saved one, but it doesn’t work. You might be able to keep the save until EA does a actual patch to fix it (if they ever do it lol)
