Is there a setting on your TV where you can shrink/expand the borders? Seems related to Overscan on the TV or display settings within the console settings.
I have normal, wide zoom and cinema views no overscan option and nothing seems to fix it. I tried using the adjust the white boxes in display settings for ps4, no luck.

What brand of TV do you have and what's it's size?

I actually have a 32 in RCA TV myself but much older and some games stretch a little past the edges. Never really bothered me too much but after searching online it seems like it's a common thing for this brand. Overscan may not be available but there are some other workarounds, check out these sites:

Hope that helps!
Thank you for your help Blueberry, appreciate it
