HOW DO I ELIMINATE GAME LAG?

When I play online VS, the game lags and slows down. It feels like the players are skating in molasses. It's not the same game as when I play offline. It's not fun at all.

I just bought CAT 6 ethernet cables for my PS5 to the router and my TV as well. I am now directly cabled as before I was wireless.

Nothing changed. I also changed my PS5 settings to Performance Mode.

I don't know what else to try. My internet is fast at 350 Mbps download speed and 54 MBps upload speed, tested on the PS5.

I know this is a common problem. What else can I do to make the game play properly???

    @EA_Aljo We were both wired the other day and there was no difference. I'm not streaming or downloading anything. I don't know if he was. Next game i'll make sure he's not. It's so frustrating and impossible to play skillfully.

    Does your friend happen to have anything streaming while they play? What is the download speed you're both on?
