HUT ERROR Failed to retrieve data; please try again later

Product: NHL 21
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not Sure
What happens when the bug occurs? Launch HUT, create team name and abbreviation, click "open starter pack" and get "ERROR Failed to retrieve data; please try again later"
What do you expect to see? I expect to see a starter pack obviously. I also expect someone to help from EA - which is also getting frustrating. I've opened cases, texted, restarted my console, unplugged the console and deleted and re-installed the game. Same problem over and over.
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online

I just tried HUT this morning and it is working for me without deleting and reinstalling, etc. Apparently EA has fixed this issue. Hopefully everyone is able to play now. See you all on the "ice"!

I have the same issue…it is happening on our PS5 and our PS4.

When exactly are you getting the error? Also, which game are you playing?

NHL 23…it is happening on both our PS5 and our PS4…unable to create a HUT team…deleted and reinstalled the game with the same results…error is failed to retrieve data, please try again later. Tried with both a wifi and a hard wired connection…still won’t work.

Try using a different team name. This happens when you choose a name that is already in use.
