An 82 can have high skating stats when a 91 can have low ones - factor in a +5 boost and say the 82OVR now has 90 speed and the 91OVR now has 99.

There is basically no difference at this point - the moment you pivot or whatever you're gonna be at a disadvantage. Instead of wasting your money on packs you should just build an 82 OVR team them; people have been saying too many synergies negatively affects your team anyway

The idea that more synergies make your team play worse is a complete myth. I have 10 synergies active on a 94 rated team. I win more than I lose and I haven't noticed any negative effects whatsoever. Then again, I don't have confirmation bias affecting how I think since I know for sure that more synergies do not have a negative effect.

I'm just reiterating what others are saying; People can waste as much money as they want, it's all going to be taken away again next year. You removed reaching div 1 as a trophy requirement so I got what I wanted.

did you try a team without any synergies but still high overall? does that help in anyway? I bet full team synergies f... up the thing

Back when winning HUT games was part of the trophy requirements I just played non stop at the very beginning when everybody still had their own basic teams - no synergies, nobody knowing the cheese goals, it just came down to skill and (mostly) connection.

People have only claimed to do better at 5 or fewer synergies.activated at once. I don't know if that's actually true or just in their heads.

In theory, a high OVR team with no synergies should be the same as a semi-high tier team with loads of synergies. Other games have had bugs where overpowering your character does negative things by accident so its not impossible, but HUT is a pretty big deal in esports so I doubt it's going on here - just a case of bad luck.

No. I didn't try a high rated team with no synergies. That's not something I can really test. If you think synergies make you lose, stick to a team without them. I know Squad Battles are always way more challenging against teams with lots of strategies and I'm not seeing how they're being detrimental, but we'll keep an eye on this.

I give up at this point...EA is a joke and their developers are 4th rate at best....to continue trying the "we dont know what you're talking about OR this is simply not true..." is horse manure....I will never spend a cent again on anything EA as their servers are awful, their developers are terrible and nobody ever seems to have any answers for anything!!!!

We do have answers. However, some people are choosing not to believe them. When I say there is no ice tilt, that's a fact. It's most definitely not built into the game. We play this game ourselves and the competition is very important. We wouldn't want the computer picking a winner. It's all about personal skill and the overalls of the players on the ice that are determining the outcome.

If you're having connection problems, we can go through some troubleshooting. Keep in mind, the internet itself is under a heavy amount of strain with much higher numbers of people staying home these days. That's something you can talk to your ISP about to see if you're being affected. If you want me to help with some troubleshooting, let me know.
