[INFO REQUEST] Teams threes eliminator can’t finish a tournament

Product: NHL 20
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Win the tournament and can’t get the trophy
What happens when the bug occurs? Didn’t get the trophy
What do you expect to see? Winning the trophy
Was the issue in online or offline mode? Online
Insert Game Mode or Feature here Threes eliminator
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 5:00pm
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30

    @boxfxiphon818 Having same problem on ps4. We win the tournament. It shows the screen with club and trophy. It then restarts another finals match without giving credit for the win. Keeps happening over and over until we lose or quit.

    EA, your biggest supporters and people that play the game the most are having issues. How about you take a  break from NHL 21 dance intros/goal celebrations and help us out with all the issues this year?

    To have a cap on teams for final round wins is ridiculous, and players too. So once you cap out do you want us to play other games? What a pain to have to make a second club and second gamertag to play. Fix this!!!

    Hi there, @N1STrayman.

    I'm not aware of a cap on how many times you can win the Threes Eliminator tournament. Where are you seeing there's a cap? Also, how many times did you win before this started happening?

    398 final round wins. You will not be able to win another championship after that. Look at the leaderboards, you will see plenty in the top 20 that have 390-398 final round wins then nothing. Teams cap out around 350 final round wins as well.

    Once you’re capped the finals just don’t count. Keeps launching you into the final rounds but doesn’t count when you win; however counts when you lose. Seems very stupid.

    Thanks for the details. You're not supposed to be capped so this is unintended. I've passed on that information to the NHL studio. I'll let you know if I have some news on this.

    Awesome, hopefully something gets fixed with the teams and players capped.

    • Platform
    • How many wins do you have?
    • Are you open to having one of our testers join your club to help reproduce this? (We will DM you)

    We're trying to get this reproduced so we can find out what's happening and hopefully get it resolved. Thanks!
