Is there really no way to save your Strategy Settings in GM Mode?

My friend and I play Be a GM Mode. As far as we can tell there is no way to save your team's strategy settings?

For example, we choose a 'collapsing' defense and 'passive box' penalty kill strategy.

How do you develop a game and not allow a franchise mode to save simple settings like this?

I understand you can change them before every game, but that seems silly. Am I missing something or was this just a gross oversight?
