Main Menu Crashes

The game crashes before I can access anything on the menu, so the game is unplayable. Can log in to NHL 18 without issue, but NHL 19 freezes in me.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Same issue. I deleted my info file from the game, but since it is synced with Xbox Live/EA (not sure which) it redownloaded it and still had problems. I can bring it up on alternate accounts on the same system without issue.

There must be some problem with my save file, but I don't know how to resolve that. Plus, I would hate for that to cause me to lose everything. I would hope my HUT and Chel progress would be retained since that should live on the EA server side, but maybe that's where the problem is?

     I have uninstalled reinstalled and factory reset my Xbox one and it STILL freezes. Any suggestions?

    Found where I could delete my save file locally and from the cloud and get the same issue. Game still freezes.

    I recently started having this problem as well. I think it started this past week. I have a digital copy, I'm guessing you do as well, it crashes the game right at the main menu. I've never had a problem until this past week.

    I play nhl 19 every day, but since yesterday (after changing nothing) , it crashes on the home screen every boot

    Same issue, worked fine now crashes. Digital copy.  Anyone find a fix yet?  I also have uninstalled and reinstalled three times.  No luck

    Hey, all.

    Are any of you installing the game on an external hard drive? I've seen situations where files are located on both the internal and external drive which can cause performance issues. It's best to uninstall the game off both (unplug the external and verify no NHL files are on the internal) and install it again on the internal drive.

    If you have anything plugged into the USB slot, unplug it. Dongles and other devices like chargers can cause freezing/crashes.

    It could be corrupted cloud data. Go to My Games & Apps>Highlight NHL 19>Press Start>Manage Game>Delete local and saved data. Then power cycle your Xbox One:

    Power cycle your Xbox One:

    1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button  on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    1. Plug the console power cable back in.
    2. Press the Xbox button  on your console to turn on the Xbox One.

    I'm having the same issue. I've re-installed, deleted local data, did a power cycle. I don't use an external hard drive, and nothing in the USB ports. Any other ideas?
