From what I've seen, none of those purchases are currently part of your overall story; I'm sure there will be changes made for next year

ok thank you for responding.....what bout in franchise mode player chemistry advancement...does it carry over to the next yr or at the end of the year it does back to neutral....and is franchise mode more involved with animations and text or just simply texts

Sorry, I don't play Franchise so I have no clue; Perhaps someone else can shine a little light on the subject?

Line chemistry does carry over in franchise mode, a players fit with the coaches system will never change.
As long as you have the same coach, you could keep all the same players, set up your lines the same every year and they will always have the same chemistry.
- it is one of the things I dislike about the mode, but I'm sure some do prefer it that way.
As for animations, if you are asking if there are any cut scenes in franchise, there are not except for the Stanley cup presentation. All conversations and goals are done through text.

so in franchise mode you don't see teammates or coaches/players or management and players chat with each other like in be a pro....ok thanks for that info i thought that was it but wasn't sure

You don't see them chatting each other up, there are conversations between you (the GM) and your head coach, but they are only a text box.
Players will also talk to you, but you cannot actually start conversations with coaches or players.
- that is another thing I really dislike, if my players morale is down I want to start a convo to see how I could improve, not have to wait for them.
This is of course if you have morale conversations turned on.

the only chatting between teammates and players/coaches and players/management is in the BE A PRO MODE but was hoping it also is in franchise mode for example where guys like auston matthews and mitch marner have chats but i don't think that happens...only in be a pro with my created player...and plus i can't put my created player in franchise mode can i

You can add created players to franchise mode, but you don't have any more control over them as you would of a normal NHL player.
And no, there are no conversations between players.

thanks for all the info...so from the info i have gotten it seems as if franchise mode is kinda bland...am i right or is there more 'exciting' stuff that i wouldn't expect that wasn't in the promo video's for the game

Honestly, there are a ton of things that I would add/change in the mode and I also have a set of "rules" I use to make it more enjoyable.
This year it has been difficult to get into the mode as there of have been quite a few game breaking bugs (most of which will hopefully be fixed this week in the patch) and I personally dislike how unrealistic the cpu GM's control their teams. Thats kind of been the dealbreaker this year for me.
All in all though, it has been where I've spent most of my time over the years when playing NHL and if you don't really care about realism I would recommend giving it a go if some bugs are sorted out this week. I personally think it's a much more in depth mode than Be a Pro is.
Also, this isn't something I enjoy doing, but there are a lot of you tube videos of guys playing through the mode that might give you a better idea of what it's like.
