NHL15 Xbox 360 EASHL Complaints

I have this problem where every Drop in game I get into has a 1 bar. I thought it was a glitch, but no, I have a solid 1-2 second delay in every game. Do you know how difficult it is to play with a delay? Especially when you are a center? It's rediculous. And don't go saying it's my connection. I never had this problem in NHL14 and I have even gone back and played a few drop in games to make sure it's not me. I have it set to North America West, I live in British Columbia Canada, so I should have no problem. The fact that I can't play Drop in games just about kills any hope I had for this game. This is especially difficult for me because I have to play club games with the terrible AI passing, against people who are already Superstar and 75 Overall and it is very difficult to win games and level up. So without drop in games it is difficult to level up if you just started because you couldn't get the game on release date. I hope that in the future you consider updating the matchmaking for regular games where it takes the overall from all players and find an average, or something along those lines anyway. Also take those stupid horse **bleep** 5 minute majors, no one asked for them back, I don't get why you would put it in, just like last year.

    OK....this is totally out of character for me here and I am usually extremely respectful to all members of the forum (non-troll members of course) but I can't hold back on this one.  So please don't take this one to heart...it's just the collective frustrations of all Next Gen Console users coming out....

    Dude, stop crying about your lag issues.  PS4 and Xbox One didn't even get EASHL....or any type of season mode for that matter.  Be grateful for what you have because the rest of us would kill for a laggy season mode at this point.  100% or 0% faceoff wins it wouldn't matter.  We would just work harder smashing faces just because we actually had a season mode.  In fact, I bet most Next Gen players would be more than happy to trade with you...360/PS3 version for the season mode and you can have their next Gen version....and play the mobile device free-to-play style game we all got.

    OK....I'm back 🙂  thanks for letting me mini rage there.   Hope you don't get mad at my response.  Like I said, collective Next Gen user rage there...and again I apologize for coming off like a troll or as if I am a mean guy cuz I'm neither.

    I also have 1 bar this year, but no lag. I rarely ever lag honestly. Have you checked your router settings? Enabled UPNP for one if it's not. This should open your NAT. You can also forward ports. Try running a speedtest when you're lagging. You can do this at www.speedtest.net. If you're getting a really low download rate then that's a good sign there's an issue with your internet. From there you should be able to diagnose the problem with your internet provider.

    Not saying the issue solely is on your end, but the majority of the time it is.

    Edit - Regarding game misconducts, I'm glad they're back. Gooning was out of control in 14. You can't just crush people like that all game long and have no penalty for it other than a quick couple minutes in the box. It was ridiculous.

    Don't Worry about it. I have next gen as well, I'm just frustrated with EA this year.

    Yes but with the new 12 player colision physics I can be under six feet tall and I wont even be skating very fast, I'll try to knock someone off the puck (I don't poke check because I am behind him) while they are on the boards and somehow just destroy them and get a 5 minute when all I want to do is throw the body a little. I know it's hard to please everyone, but I think spending an entire period worth of time on the box is good enough discipline for goons, especially if you are playing with human G's. It's really not all that hard to score multiple times while on the PP for 5 minutes.

    My downlaod speed is 16.24 Mbps.

    I don't mind 5 minute majors. But I hate the game misconducts, I would prefer just getting out of the box after 5 minutes.

    I would also like to apologize for my original post, I was a little harsh. (I wrote this after spending 3 hours trying to find a drop in game) Yes it was probably my connection, but I am not too sure considering it was fine on NHL 14 and I was not Downloading  anything nor streaming any media. Thanks for the help.

    I tried everything with my connection and nothing to do I always that little red bar and lag of almost a second, but its doing its only EASHL mode, another online mode works very well.

    I don't know if this is a bug or what. I still have that red bar too, but games rarely ever lag. Not sure what that's all about.

    No problem. I understand the frustration. Trust me, in the many years I've been playing this game I've had my share of frustrating moments 

    As far as the misconducts go, yes, I've seen some called that really shouldn't have been. Hits on/near the boards though are always going to give you a better chance at a misconduct. Instead of hitting in those areas you may want to try boardplaying instead. I know, it's not as satisfying as a hit, but it will keep you from getting kicked out of the game. Save those big hits for areas away from the boards
