Dressing Room errors:
We have identified the root cause of the error and it was specific to PS4. We are in the midst of testing a work around fix to deploy to the server in hope that the issues are resolved until a proper client fix can be made in an upcoming patch.

Glad you FINALLY had any kind of update after a month of this being brought up. This has been an 80 dollar brick bc of how slow you have been to fix it. Also, this is still not a fox for everyone bc I’m still getting the error. I’m not sure why everyone else is congratulating EA. This is an error that shouldn’t have been released and should have certainly been addressed after the beta. I won’t say thanks, more like about time. Last EA game for me.

This is complete garbage we pay for this game and it doesn't work. There was 3 of us last night trying to play playoffs and there was always one of us that get kicked what garbage. Takes us 6 hours to play one game, come on ea there is games that have 20 or more people in lobbies that work just fine. What is up with you guys it's almost 2019 come on already. Had so much interest in this game and have got every year since 2004. This is losing interest in the game....

Based on today’s gaming sessions I think my dressing room error is pretty much solved.
I finally went and bought a separate WLAN router since I haven’t been happy with my cable modem WLAN anyway. I configured my modem to bridged mode and connected my new WLAN router to that. Then I connected the PS4 to the WLAN router with a cable.
Now it seems idle connection are not dropped anymore because I was able to play multiple CHEL games including EASHL and Ones.
Obviously this doesn’t mean you all should go and spend money on new devices, but for me it might have solved the issue (still not 100% sure, more testing needed) as a bonus when I actually wanted to improve my WI-FI range and reliability.
Hopefully there’s a patch from EA coming soon to fix it for everyone...

@poqwe, glad you seem to have solved your issue. My modem is courtesy of my ISP, so other than asking for a new model - which given cable companies could take weeks - I'm at the mercy of a patch. The lack of recent information and updates has led me to enjoy other games instead.

Just go to settings in PS4 menu and do 'test internet connection' (keep NHL running). You don't have to wait till it's completed (you may cancel it), and then back to NHL. You will be reconnected with servers.
Do it after every completed game in CHEL (except for Pro AM b'cos it works fine).

Any update?? I was logging in every day waiting for an update now I'm ready to just delete the game and move on to something else..... tell us something.... I paid 80 dollars for an unplayable game.. I dont play 1v1 I play club and 6s and I'm normally on the leaderboards.. this is garbage EA..

Times up for me. I don’t care if you patch it. Getting my money back is probably not an option but I think there is enough on this message board to pursue some kind of action for your lack of responsibility. At the very least that’s the last EA game I’ll purchase. Just seems weird that any professional organization would work like this.

You know what I'm done with this BS, let's start the refund thread because I'm done waiting for EA to fix a game that they already sold us that never actually worked. EASHL is the only gamemode I play and I can't play it. I want my money back ASAP

So a huge (over 1 GB) patch has been rolled out, but I don't see anything about a Dressing Room Error fix in the notes.
I don't want to assume, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but if a fix was forthcoming to this issue, I think it'd be rolled up in this patch or this patch would have been held until it was ready if it was close?
My EASHL club continues to lose games because I get the error and they then have to quit when they are sent through without me. And it's happened to opponents as well. If it were just an issue that affected me, so be it, but the knock on effect cascades out to others. And I say this even as I do a hard restart after every game. It usually allows me to get into 1 EASHL game, but if the locker room is idling too long, that seems to affect things too. - MiIczar7 years agoNew Adventurer

I'm not sure, but I think today's patch doesn't contain the fix for a Dressing Room Error. So, it looks like it will come with next patch/tuner.
I hope I'm not wrong, because as you mentioned there is nothing about the DRE in the updated notes. Plus, I updated my NHL and the error still occurs, so there must be next patch in the way.
If I'm wrong then I hope EA will tell us.

So no real fix. You designed a game that you didn’t QA very well if at all online for these modes. You have already taken so long it’s not even worth fixing. Start the refund process. By the time you fix this next years game will be out. I’m passed being frustrated with it and more just going to hope ppl stop giving you money in the future. Been a long time coming for EA to finally push too far into cutting corners and money grabs.

Dressing room error codes will have a server fix likely to go out sometime next week. We are stress testing the fix at the moment. Will update when we are good to go live with that.OK, now it's clear. The patch has nothing with the fix for the DRE. It's a matter of server fix.

Still im sick of this. They have been just wiping the problem under the rug and have given no real answers. I chatted them this morning he said word for word this would be a fix to the problem I do all the step by step stuff again still dr error. Then they tell me to post my issue on the site. Way to not care about your customer base, this is a pure catastrophic game. Made it look pretty but means nothing without online play. I hope that your studio loses its contract with the NHL because you guys are embarrassing your selfs by giving no answers. Even when I phone you guys you read off a script might as well tell me to fist my self. They told me to go play hut so what I can spend more MONEY!

you: It's when I try to play eashl anytime you try to get in a game the timer runs out and says dressing room error. You can tell when its gonna happen because the background doesn't animate black. It stays with the back light.
you: This update was to apparently fix this issue but it's still the same. It's been almost a month and is becoming frustrating. I know a ton of people having the same issue on leaugegaming.

Omraj : I have checked and found that is due to sync issue as there is no such issue going on with the game, Earlier that was a known issue however team has fixed that.
