Community ManagerRe: HUT Champions/Rivals sudden disconnection
Did you try power cycling as I suggested earlier in this thread? Also, are you on a wired or wireless connection?

- @EA_Aljo Yes I tried power cycling. And I am on a wireless connection. I don't have any issues with Rivals, HUT Rush, or any other HUT game mode other than Hut Champions. I also was finding the same disconnect issue with World of Chel too. As you can see in the screenshot I sent earlier my connection is great but I'll just randomly disconnect at some point in the game with no lag happening before the disconnect

Random disconnects are very common with wireless connections. Would you be able to switch to a wire or are you too far away from the router for one?
- @EA_Aljo this is a bit while later but i have these same issues and the game keeps saying ‘lost connection to other players’ and then it shows up as a loss. it has happened 3 times in the last 4 games and its pissing me off. ive done all your steps and i am on a wireless connection and am too far away from a router. is there anything I can do?

If you're too far for a wire, that's probably the issue. You could look into a powerline adaptor. Those have been a good solution for many that are unable to play over a wired connection.
@EA_Aljoyeah my wifi is perfectly fine though… it just says ‘you have disconnected from other player(s)’ and kicks me out. would be fine if EA would find a way to fix it though. all other games including cod, apex, etc have no problems like NHL does. its happened 4 times in a row too… lost 80 rivals points🤣

As a test, can you move your console to a TV that is close enough for a wire?
