Hello, @Isaacleonard1.
Please try contacting @EAHelp through Twitter or open a case with a live support advisor here: https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/. You can also go to facebook.com/eahelphub to get in touch with support. They'll look into this for you. Thanks!
About the same thing happened to me in NHL 21. I've been playing HUT ever since it was introduced.
There was Jason Arnott 96 up and latest bid was 100 000 coins. I made a last second bid of 100 050 coins. Looked fine as the coins were deducted from my wallet.
I kept refreshing the auction items and did not see this Arnott auction coming back to market so no one else was bidding.
But after winning the deal, the card was nowhere to be found, inbox, bids won, unsuccseful bids...
I contacted EA help, four times altogether. The first three times I was told it was a server error and I should try to reinstall the game, which I did. The fourth time they told my purchase never occurred, because it was not seen in the logs.
I did not get the card, or the coins back.

Hi there, @jussivee
I took a look at your account. I don't see where 100,050 coins were spent. We're very limited with assistance for this on Answers HQ. If you'd like it investigated further, you'll need to open a case again here. If they can't find any evidence that those coins were lost, they won't be able to replace them.
- @EA_Aljo I just have the screenshots right after I had lost the coins. It was on Thursday 19.8 around 0:40 UTC.
Hopefully whatever caused it will be fixed someday. - EA_Aljo5 years ago

I'm looking at the account you're posting with so if you're playing on a different one, I wouldn't see your coin history. Regardless, as I said, you'll need to contact an advisor for assistance.
