@EA_Aljo
Not asking you to test every setup. No one here has asked that
All that has been asked is to test a couple of the theories proposed here since you guys have been unable to come up with anything yourselves.
Two players with very different distances from a server, all other variables held constant.
Two players in the same area near the server, with internet speed/wireless the only difference, all other variables held constant. Possibly one console located on an acreage with limited internet connection/reliability and the other in the city on a fast wired connection.
Then maybe repeat these two tests during peak and not popular hours to test how the server load affects them.
If you test these two things and witness input delay on one person's end with one of them, you have located the issue and can focus your efforts. If not you can eliminate our two leading theories.
But you're telling me that EA's approach is "this is too difficult to test so we won't do anything at all"????
What has happened to corporate accountability to its customers? Let us pay for this game and then all of us experience these issues but you won't do anything?
You set up this forum to deal with issues with the game only to receive a plethora of complaints of this exact issue (with anecdotes and empirical evidence supporting that more are facing this issue but just won't come to this page to post) and then proceed to do nothing about it.
Is this forum intended to gather together all the people passionate enough to fix these problems, and then just let them talk amongst themselves so that we might figure it out on our own?
"Monitor the servers"? That's all you guys can do?
Why doesn't the team test some of the leading theories and actually try something instead of just make up excuses to do nothing?
