Re: NHL 14 Fighting

This is very wrong and not true to the actual game in the NHL then.

Stars lay out big hits all the time and do not have to fight (and usually dont) if they don't want to. 

They have the option to skate away, turtle, or get their own teammate/enforcer to stick up for them.

(If they don't know this, then they don't want NHL hockey)

Guys even stick up for teammates even from the bench. 

Ex. Phil Kessel vs John Scott, and Clarkson left the bench to protect his star. 

or 

Ex. Paul Bissonette jumped in to protect his star the other game, cause the star didn't want to fight.

or 

as per usual, they just turtle or skate away.

Next, it doesn't matter if they fight or not, the oppositions teammate starts the fight, so this should always result in an instigator penalty.

(again watch NHL hockey and this is always the right call)

I only deliever clean hits this is just a pain to see these fights and as well no instigator calls (time and time again, 3+ times a game)

Please fix this.

P.S. While fixing this, can they also fix the glitch where fights happen and my player gets a "major for fighting" and the opponents fighter gets nothing.

This seems to only happen in the 3rd period, once a game. I've had times where say Pietrangelo gets a 5 minute major for fighting, and Joe Thornton who was also in the fight gets no penalty then scores 2 goals on a major powerplay.

I took pictures and it says in the stats only the major for fighting for my player and nothing for the opponents. This must be fixed.

Just wanted to say again how fighting penalties make no sense in NHL14, but are so in actual real life NHL.

Tonight in a game versus Toronto and Calgary.

At 16:56 of the 2nd period (Wed Oct 30th)

Carter Ashton (of the Maple Leafs) makes a slightly dangerous hit.

He hits a guy from behind, and the guy falls into the boards.

Shane O'Brien (of the Calgary Flames) steps up for his fallen teammate.

He jumps on Ashton and starts a fight with him.

They both fight.

The referees asses the penalties as such :

Ashton - 2 minutes for boarding and 5 minutes for fighting

O'Brien - 2 minutes for instigating, 5 minutes for fighting and 10 minute game misconduct.

(I have seen this time and time again in the NHL it is called consistently, and even more so no penalty at all for a clean hit, but the teammate jumps in cause his teammate is down)

In EA's NHL14, usually the first guy gets 5 minutes for fighting and a game misconduct and sometimes rarely just the 5 minute major for the fight, 

and the teammate who instigated the fight only gets the 5 minute major for fighting.

This is totally wrong, and should be fixed.

(also I'm still getting the 5 minute major penalty in the 3rd period and the fighting teammate on the opposition gets nothing and they then get a 5 minute major powerplay)

This is an example of what occured tonight, which is not realistic in NHL14.

I have anothe issue.

I want my superstar to fight (created player).  I have him as a power foward, fighting set to often, yet everytime I hit, a non fighter jumps in to fight in his place ... 

Anything to do about that?
