Re: Nhl 18 lag and delay

My nhl18 start lagging too.. Alltime when i go in game that animatio where u see city before a game and players skating ice it starts lagging so much... and gameplay is so bad too. cant pass,shoot,faceoffs normaly.. it so bad now.. why it start doing that like 3days ago? before it works fine. where is problem because my internet is ok and alltime its look green..

  • yes i saw it but, my network is fine.. all other games work fine but not nhl 18.

    I have the same problems, play NHL18 HUT Offline.
    The support staff have no idea, you mean something different each time.
    - Internet connection has errors
    - Data error of NHL18
    - then data error of the disc of NHL18

    and now, after the Uotrace, EA Support thinks it's up to the unknown hops.

    These are again Hope 10 Prolexic Technologies
    and Hope 12, 13 and 14 from EA Sports

    @juhhazfin Your UO trace looks ok, have you opened the ports for the game?

    @Anonymous Your UO Trace throws up a number of worries, your Ping best/worst times are very high and any difference more than 100ms points to issues. you have 

    21ms / 158ms, 25ms / 150ms, 120ms / 253ms, 107ms / 243ms and so on. I would recommend that you ensure that ports are open and that you speak with your ISP and show them your UO Trace as they will be able to advise you further.

    I already have, they say, the values go out clean with them.

    Since problem I can not really understand that, with the Internet connection, since this problem only occurs, from the level professional.
    If I play amateur or semi professional, then the problem does not arise.

    why does not the player accept the puck?

    I can still send a lot of errors that are already known to EA Sports, but EA Sports is not interested.

    EA Sports is more important for selling Päcks (overpriced & useless content)

    @Anonymous Based on the OU Trace you provided, your connection has issues. You have very high Ping best/worst differences which will cause issues. Your ISP will be able to help you look into it. Please contact them and show them your UO Trace.

    @EA_Darko I am having similar issues. I've tried port forwarding and QoS. These have actually increased my latency times. I am hard wired into my xbox. ISP is 100/12.

    @tpommm9 Sorry for the late reply, You need to let the UO Trace populate so that all the information is shown, I need to see the Ping best/worst and % Loss etc in order to get an over view of your connection.

    @tpommm9 Do you mind posting the full file as that UO Trace looks like information is missing, in fact it looks like a Traceroute rather than a UO Trace.

    @tpommm9 You need to follow the instructions exactly and then let the UO Trace populate so that all the information is shown, I need to see the Ping best/worst and % Loss etc in order to get an over view of your connection.

    @EA_Darko I have followed the instructions exactly. I am running a trace route using UO Trace to easo.ea.com. That is the entire trace route until completion. The UO Trace tool will not show any hops. See below.

    @tpommm9 You need to populate the results by hitting poll, but that said if you are not seeing a single IP Address there or even a hostname then it points to issues with your connection.

    @EA_Darko this would be true if my in game ping as very high. However, I usually have around 17-20 ping on a high performance gaming monitor and I have a 1-2 second delay which is equivalent to over 100ms ping. I have played with 17ms ping prior and the connection can be very smooth. However, now the ping response is irrelevant and my connection always feels very very delayed. This has been an issue for years plaguing this game and it has been proven by multiple users that it is not an internal networking problem, but rather how the user connects to the EA servers. This problem needs to be handled and resolved on the EA end if you want to keep customers.

    @tpommm9 Please run the UO Trace correctly and populate the information needed. Based on what you posted above there are issues with how your traffic is being routed as not a single hop is showing any information.
