Zone vs Superstar Abilities

What is the difference between zone and superstar abilities? I can’t actually find an explanation on the superstar abilities.

    I think I have seen that before and maybe just thought something different due to the naming of them. Looks like it’s just how much of an “attribute boost” they get.

    So "zone" doesn't mean they have be in a certain area of the ice for it be activated? My lord EA really doesn't like to be straight forward about anything!
