Hey @pantomime725 there is no danger to sharing your IP when requested by a representative of EA. If you have a router then even if some bad people get your IP address it won't do them much good as modern routers have all kinds of protection and safe guards in place to stop someone accessing your system simply through your IP.
If you have an old account and do not know the account details or have access to the email then our team will need to verify that you are the account owner. They will ask you a variety of questions to prove that you are the account owner, if you are unable to supply enough information to verify that you are the account owner then they will be unable to make changes or grant you access to the account.
The only team who can assist you is our live support team who you can contact our live support at help.ea.com.

Hi @EA_Darko
Would you kindly name a couple of the safety guards on routers that you mention? Thanks.

Hey @pantomime725 I'm not sure how this is related to your issue. If our live support is asking for your IP then all they are using it is for verification purposes and no other reason. If you do not wish to share that info with our team then that is okay, but if you cannot verify that you are the account owner then our team will be unable to assist you in gaining access to the account.
If you wish to know more about the numerous protections available then you can take a look at the info shared by the main router manufactures, it includes things like a built in firewall, stronger encryption, regular patching of issues, and updating of software and most have a feature to toggle on or off remote access.
