Can I still redeem FIFA 17 from a CD key?

I'm trying to buy FIFA 17 recently and as you know it's removed from the Origin store. but the game is still available on other stores. so my question is... will i be able to redeem the game after a ...

    Hey @HazemMoHashim if the code has not already been redeemed then it should still work if redeemed on Origin.

Sorry to necromance the thread, but it seems like the closest thing I could find:

If I were to activate FIFA 17 from a CD key on Origin, would the free items (especially the Rainbow/Pride-Kit) also be activated, or were those tied to the servers?
