EA Account credentials Expired

So a few months i logged onto Star Wars Battlefront 2 and was greeted with the message "Your account crediantls have expired, please reset your password". I changed my password several times but did not fix the issue. I then discovered that my Xbox Gamertag is linked to a different EA Account which i can't access. I've tried other email addresses that it could be linked to but they weren't correct so it must be under my old email address that was deleted 2 years ago.

I've contacted EA several times and have now tried twice for the account recovery but i somehow got it wrong. I don't know what to do and while all this is happening, i'm unable to play any online EA game which is really annoying me.

Anyone got any suggestions to how i could gain access to the account or get some information about it?

Thanks

I came here for the same reason I guess I can't play EA games anymore and I just wasted money getting battlefield 2042. My email has also been changed to something disabled.com I never did that!

  • I have called over 7 times now and they still haven’t been able to give me an answer on how i can play EA games again other than making an entirely new Xbox account and repaying for everything and not to mention years of achievements down the drain so, you are both right EA does help now when i try to recover my account it goes to some random email @ disabled EA so at least they disabled it from never getting used but that’s exactly the problem they completely locked me out so they did help them selves but not me or this other guy as a customer we are left in the dark never able to link our accounts to our Xbox or game system again. If there are any fixes and i can link my Xbox account with the email i use for Xbox again that would be fantastic but until then work on helping fix this issue, I’ve been using EA since GameCube why has it went backwards making it impossible for me to play the games i payed for.

Hey @maniacalrick, if you are unable to verify that you are the account holder then our team will be unable to grant you access to or make changes to an account. Saying our team will not help is not true, they will do everything they can but if you are unable to prove ownership then they will not be able to assist you.

  • @EA_Darko what mis-information am I spreading? The OP stated he contacted your team several times and his issue wasn't resolved. Your response was "call our help people for help" which clearly this individual tried.

My response was true - you are out of luck if you cant get by the 'account recovery' process - even if you can provide said requested information. I have dealt with this very same issue. You so many people with the same problem that will never be able to purchase or play purchased games again online (unless they start over with a new PSN or XBL account) and EA doesn't do anything to better the account recovery process - which (by the way) an Live advisor swore up and down to me that "EA is finally listening to this issue and changing the process". Do you know when that will happen?

Hey @maniacalrick please do not spread misinformation on AHQ.

If our team is unable to assist you then this is not something that we can assist with on AHQ.
