Excruciatingly slow download speed

I have bought the Mass Effect Legendary Edition via a sale on fanatical. I was excited, so I started the download in the Origin client. However, it was very slow (500kb/s) and then went down to 0kbps...

    Hey @faeth0n I tested Origin and MEL through Origin there and Origin was downloaded and installed in seconds. MEL is now redownloading and won't take long at all.

    If seeing slow speeds then I'd recommend the following:

    Hello @EA_Darko,

    Thanks for reaching out. I have eventually successfully reinstalled the Origin Client and MEL in a safe boot environment. I have not gone (yet) through figuring out which service might have an impact (I already tried installation without anti-virus running, but this had no change). All major gaming platforms (Steam, UPlay, Battle.net, GOG, Epic, etc) work, so there is no real incentive yet to go through the tedious process of figuring out which service might have an impact.

    I hope it will get sorted out somewhere in the future, so the Origin Client will behave as expected from a gaming platform!
