How to stop ads/spam from origin
how do i get rid of the annoying glitchy pop up ads? while looking for a solution i found an old thread and some ea guy claimed the following:
"There is a "Featured Today" popup, but this has very much to do with gaming.
You can disable this by clicking Origin in the top left, then Application Settings. Click the Advanced tab, and there should be a checkbox to disable the popup."
well i looked and their isnt anything, i looked under the notification settings and found nothing either. The ads for "free" games are only free for a day or 2 so they are useless, but the part that actually pisses me off is when they popup and ruin my other games while playing. they minimize my aplications or cover a chunk of my screen and i cant see.

That doesn't look like the normal Origin notification pop-ups. Do you have the Epic Games client running on your PC? I think that's where it actually came from, if so.
