I can't install Origin (OriginThinSetup.exe won't open)

I bought The Sims 3 Ambitions, and can't play it, because I can't install Origin. I've tried all the solutions I found across the Web, and none worked. I have Windows 7 and my laptop meets all the requirements. Any help? Thanks.

    @natalia1000003 Sorry to see that you are having issues, would you mind trying the following steps and let me know how you get on.

    1. Try re-installing Origin:
      1. Close the Origin client.
      2. Open theControl Panel (find it by searching “Control Panel” in the Start menu).
      3. Click onUninstall a program under Programs.
      4. Click onOrigin and uninstall.
      5. Reinstall Origin, then try installing your game again.

    Try running Origin as an administrator:

    1. Close the Origin client.
    2. Right-click the Origin client icon on your desktop (or in the Origin directory if not on your desktop) and click Run As Administrator.

    This runs the Origin client as an administrator account, and should let the game  install.

    Try lowering the User Access Control settings:

    1. Close the Origin client. 
    2. Click the Windowsbutton and type "UAC" in the search field. 
    3. In the User Access Control window, click and hold the slide bar —slide it to the lowest setting available. 
    4. Click Okat the bottom of the window. 
    5. Open the Origin client and try installing again (click Installon the game you want).

    What I'm trying to say is that I can't install even Origin itself.

    When you double click on the Origin when trying to install, does OriginThinSetupInternal.exe appear and then after a while crash/disappear from the Task Manager?

    After yours several crazy unuseful "updates" Oigin does not installs, does not starts, it's simply drops down from Processes in Taskmanager.

    Also I mention that older setup files from 08.2017 do execute well.

    What *, the hell, did you put into the installer it drops?

    Will you be SO VERY GLAD to take this incident into account to your next update so to make it less uneuseful?

    Yes, that's the issue. I have downloaded older version of origin and it indeed installed. But then the app updated and now won't open as well as the installer.
