Jedi: Fallen Order files is still downloaded but Origin says it's not

I recently moved my jedi fallen order game files to another new file i called "Jedi fallen order" (prevoius one was named Apex). I did this manually as in i straight up went to my driver, made a new file and put all of jedi fallen order into that file. I then deleted the old file which contained absolutely nothing after the transfer. Then when i tried to start the game from Epicgames it showed that the game was not installed and needed to be reinstalled.

I then ask; Is there anything i can do to get Origin to register that i have all of my data already installed or is there a way in which i can make sure all of my progress is safe? If a reinstallment is needed i would like to delete the 51,8 GB game data (all the previous data from jedi fallen order) which i won't be using and still keep my old progress

  • Hey @sebsej2727 the best thing to do is to try the following steps:

    1. Copy your Origin Game Library folder to wherever you want it.
      • The default location is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\”
    2. Set the Origin Game Library Location to the new location.
      • In Origin open up Settings
      • Select the “Installs & Saves” tab.
      • Under “Game library location” select “Change folder…”
      • Locate the new folder.
    3. Start a download for each game you’ve moved.
      • In Origin open up “My Game Library”
      • Find each game you’ve moved.
      • Press “Download”
      • Origin will skip downloading any files that are already there and update any that need to be updated.
    4. When Origin is done updating each game it will be ready to play.
