Link Epic Games Account to EA on a MAC

I'm currently trying to connect my EA account to my Epic Games account through my MAC in preparation for the new Sims 4 free bundle through Epic. Linking these accounts on PC is done through download...

I was trying to link my Epic Games account to my EA Account on my Macbook as there was the free bundle of 3 packs for the Sims 4 on Epic Games. Epic Games will not let me open the Sims 4 as I am on a Mac and cannot find another way to link them.
